This festive image hails from George Kuthan, the artist who came to Canada – and Vancouver – from Europe in the 1950s. In addition to showing his linocut work in numerous galleries and contributing to the highly respected The Menagerie of Interesting Zoo Animals, Kuthan also worked in a sawmill.
