Last Tsar of Russia
by Edited by V. S. Krivenko

This image is taken from Koronatsionnyi sbornik, a book commemorating Nicholas II of Russia’s 1896 coronation. Nicholas II (1868-1918) was the last Tsar of Russia. His reign ended in 1917 with the Russian Revolution and he and his family were subsequently executed. In 2000, they were canonized as passion bearers by the synod of the Russian Orthodox Church.
