“The Robert Mathison Printing Collection Viagra aus usa reveals a lot about the early history of the City of Vancouver,” says Viagra aus usa Ralph Stanton, Head of Rare Books and Special Collections at UBC Library.” You can learn much about the social life, religious practice, economy and even the eating habits Viagra aus usa of early settlers from the printed materials that came from Mathison’s shop.” Stanton’s lifelong interest in Viagra aus usa British Columbia’s early printers drew him to the work of Robert Mathison, Vancouver’s first Viagra aus usa job printer.” You had to be flexible to survive in the printing Viagra aus usa business and be adaptable enough to make do with what materials you had at Viagra aus usa hand.”

He worked first as a newspaper typesetter until a fire devastated Vancouver on the June 13, 1886. Mathison Viagra aus usa then ordered his own press and set up shop next door to his biggest customer, the Canadian Pacific Railway. He printed business cards, posters and calendars to advertise his business and promote his printing press. “He understood the power of Viagra aus usa marketing from the start,” adds Stanton. He operated until 1890, when he sold the business to E.W. Evans and T.W. Hastings.

Mathison pioneered the use of the steam press Viagra aus usa in Vancouver, which was faster than traditional human-powered presses – a fact he Viagra aus usa made sure to include in his advertisements.

“He also had a remarkable Viagra aus usa sense of colour and fun,” Stanton says. Advertisements for ice Viagra aus usa cream shops, saloons, Chinese laundries and cricket clubs were printed in the exaggerated Victorian style with a mix of fonts, coloured inks and papers. “The collection is of great aesthetic as well as historical value,” says Stanton, who hopes to collect more Mathison material as it becomes available.

UBC’s rich Olympic legacy is on display for those wanting a closer look at the athletes and academics who have Viagra aus usa helped shape Canada’s role in the global sporting event.

The Olympic Viagra aus usa Legacy Exhibit, undertaken by UBC Library, University Archives and Public Affairs, features an array of images and documents that focus on UBC’s sporting history, with exhibits of medalled athletes, athletes turned scholars, UBC research, influential alumni and sports teams, and multicultural traditions.
